The Full Picture

Why Aerial Photography Sells Listings Faster

Ground-level photos only show part of the story. Drone photography reveals the full property layout — roof condition, backyard depth, lot boundaries, driveway, landscaping, and proximity to parks, schools, and mountains. Buyers scrolling Zillow stop on aerial shots because they communicate scale and context that interior photos never can. MLS data shows listings with aerial photos receive 68% more engagement and sell faster in markets like Riverside, Corona, and Temecula where lot size and outdoor space are major buying factors.

FAA Part 107 Certified

Licensed, Insured, and Legal

Every drone flight is operated under an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. This isn't optional — flying a drone commercially without Part 107 is a federal violation that can result in fines for both the operator and the agent who hired them. Dustyn Reno Design carries full liability insurance and follows all airspace authorization requirements. You get professional results without legal risk.

Drone Photography Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does drone photography cost for a real estate listing?
Drone aerial photos are included in our Standard ($329) and Premium ($500) packages. As a standalone add-on to the Essential package, drone photos are +$125. Cinematic drone video is included in the Premium package or available as a +$200 add-on.See all packages
Is it legal to fly a drone over someone's property for photos?
Yes — when operated by an FAA Part 107 certified pilot following federal airspace rules. Dustyn Reno Design holds an active Part 107 certificate and full liability insurance. Hiring an uncertified drone operator puts you at legal risk.
What if the property is near an airport or military base?
We handle airspace authorization through the FAA's LAANC system. Many Inland Empire properties are near March Air Reserve Base or Ontario International Airport — we check airspace restrictions before every flight and obtain authorization when required. If a flight can't be authorized, we'll let you know before the shoot.
Can you fly drones in windy conditions?
We monitor weather conditions 24 hours before each scheduled flight. Sustained winds over 25 mph or gusts over 35 mph require rescheduling for safety and image quality. In the Inland Empire, Santa Ana wind events are the most common reason for rescheduling — we'll proactively reach out if conditions look unfavorable.
How many drone photos will I receive?
A standard drone session produces 8–15 edited aerial images including bird's-eye overhead shots, angled property shots, neighborhood context shots, and close-up roof/feature details. The exact count depends on property size and features worth highlighting.
Do drone photos really help sell homes faster?
MLS data shows listings with aerial photography receive 68% more engagement than those without. For properties in the Inland Empire where lot size, outdoor living, and mountain/canyon views are key selling points, drone photos communicate value that ground-level shots simply cannot.See the data
