A Content Library, Not One More Headshot
Environmental portraits, working frames, and detail shots that give you months of content instead of a single profile photo — shot on location in spaces with real character. Built on the same craft behind commercial campaign work in downtown LA. Sessions from $449, full commercial usage included.

Why It Matters
A headshot answers one question: what do you look like. It can't carry a website, a launch, a speaking bio, a newsletter, and six months of social posts. That's why the same photo ends up cropped into every surface until it stops meaning anything. A branding session produces a library instead — you working, your hands on the actual thing you do, the room you do it in, wide frames with space for text, tight frames for a profile. Different photos for different jobs, all clearly of the same person.

On-Location Process
We plan looks and locations before the day so the session isn't improvised. Dustyn brings a portable studio when a clean backdrop is needed and works with available light when the room itself is the point. Most of the direction is positioning — where you stand relative to a window, which way to angle your shoulders, where to put your hands so they look like they belong to you. You don't need to know how to model. That's the photographer's job, and it's the same job whether the subject is a first-timer or a professional.

Campaign-Grade Craft
Branding sessions run on the same craft as commercial campaign work. Dustyn has produced campaign imagery in downtown Los Angeles for a national work-boot brand — shot not in a studio but in a friend's apartment in an older downtown building, chosen for its lived-in, concrete-jungle character. One look, multiple setups throughout the building, working with a professional model where the direction was almost entirely about positioning for the light. The client ran a successful campaign on the results. That's the standard a branding session is built to: real spaces, deliberate light, images that hold up as marketing rather than as nice portraits.
Behind the Lens

In June 2026 I shot a half-day branding session for an independent consultant in Riverside CA — her own office for the desk and working frames, then the brick alley behind the building for the environmental portraits, then a nearby coffee shop for the softer approachable set. Three looks, one afternoon, and a library she could schedule across a website refresh, LinkedIn, and a speaking one-sheet instead of reusing the same headshot everywhere.
Local context: Dustyn Reno is an FAA Part 107 certified commercial photographer, so branding sessions that want an aerial or rooftop establishing frame don't need a second vendor. Branding and campaign sets are delivered with full commercial usage rights — the images can run on the client's site, paid social, print collateral, and pitch decks without per-use licensing.
